My favorite artist is Joan Miro.
Here is one of his works. Contact me if you wish to display your own Miro-like artwork ("Miro Pseudomorphs") here. The closer your art looks to Miro's art, the better. |
My favorite artist is Joan Miro, the Spanish surrealist painter (1893-1983). His work is an expression of the subconscious in free form. He uses brilliant colors superimposed with playful, delicate lines and abstract, amoebic shapes. His works often have a humorous quality. His backgrounds are usually neutral and rendered in a limit set of basic colors.
I enjoy creating and collecting pseudo-Miro art, done in 5 to 60 minutes. I'd like to feature your work in the gallery below. Can you create a pseudo-Miro, on par with Miro's works and worthy of hanging in rich people's homes? Can you create something for which someone would pay $1000?
